The Mitsubishi Triton has been in production since 1978 (formally known as the Mitsubishi Forte). Since 1978, many models have been released in single cab, double cab, 4x2, 4x4, petrol and diesel. The Mitsubishi Triton received the 'Best All Wheel Drive' award four years in a row (multiple awarders). In 2008, Mitsubishi released the Triton Fastback as a limited edition for the Triton range, stepping up from the power and luxury look of the Tritons.
